Help: For more details on how to onboard an employee manually, see our guide here.
Sometimes, employees may not complete the digital onboarding process. This guide explains what to do when:
The employee has not started onboarding.
There are outstanding onboarding tasks.
You wish to cancel the onboarding.
You wish to change the onboarding method.
If an employee's status is marked as Invite Sent and they haven't completed onboarding, you can resend the invite by clicking Three Dots button and then the Resend Invite button.
This will notify the employee via email to create their account and finish the required task. Alternatively, you can cancel the process and restart by adding a new employee and selecting the manual onboarding option.
If the employee has started the onboarding process but hasn't completed it, their status will show as Onboarding on the Employee Management page.
If you wish to correct any information on their behalf, you can manually update their details. To do this, click on the employee’s name.
On the Employee Details screen, click then Edit button in any of the sections to add information.
Alternatively, you can use the cancel option to remove the employee, enabling you to manually onboard them once again by clicking the Three Dots button and then the Cancel button.
Click the Yes, Cancel, and Delete button.
After cancelling the onboarding process, the record will be deleted. You then have the option to re-add the employee as a new employee and start the manual onboarding process.
